A cover of the song "Be Not So Fearful." I made this in March 2020 when I found out that the Make-a-Wish Foundation stopped granting wishes due to the pandemic.

September 2019. I created a white noise , crashing wave sound with a synthesizer and then looped a guitar piece and filmed myself write and sing the lyrics at my desk. Nothing is rehearsed. I added video to the film to create story.

November 2019. Experimental. Video is of nine dreams of the Deep Dreamer which lasted 30 minutes and has been sed up to 5 minutes. Here is what is said: Here's the thing, you are playing in the game. No matter what. Someone says, "There's a game happening." It means you're in the game. Now you can say, "I'm not playing," but it doesn’t matter, you have simply lost the game that is being played. Take the game of Tag or Got You Last, the start of the game is by the person who is tagged, they tag themselves, they tag themselves with the rules of the game first, and then they tag you and you’re it. Now in the event that you say, "I'm not playing," it doesn't change the fact that you are it. You are in their game. Now they can stop the game or they can play the game or they can simply say, "It doesn't matter, you're it," and play on your vanity. And you can say, "It doesn't matter to me, This feeds no interest. I'm not playing that game.” And in some games for some stakes it doesn't matter, but for other games for larger stakes it just may. Take the game pf privacy. Do you want your privacy or do you want to be veiled in your ignorance of not having privacy? It doesn't matter what you want. The game is getting played. The game is always getting played. The hunter and the hunted. The prey and the predator. There are no bystanders for those awoken, for those sentient. You are not a rock

It's called "Across teh River". here are the lyrics: Well you’re tired in the morning when you wake up you can’t see that everybody loves you and you know that it’s me but I’m not gonna be there when you wake today because you’re going away you know across that river across that boat i know and everybody wonders what its like to leave and you get a new apartment and you get too see what its like to live without she. Well Im so frazzled and I’m so tired and you get angry when we’re apart but i love you dear. Well i got nothing to be thankful for but you got something true and you tell them all it’s gonna be with you.

July 2021. Experimental / spoken word. Here is what is said: All right, so here's the thing, no matter what our best intentions sometimes it's the case that we don’t achieve those best intentions. And in some cases we can point externally and we can say “The reason why I was not successful was because of X." And there’s truth in that, and we can find reason for that, and we can support that through looking at it historically and providing the backup that says, “Yep, those were the reasons why you didn’t achieve it.” That is true, however, it is also the case that sometimes we don’t achieve things because of us, because we haven’t put in the work, we didn’t put in the effort. Now to be clear it could be that we didn’t put in the effort before we made the commitment to really understand: “Hey do I have the resources to honour this commitment that I am making? Do I have the ability to put in the effort to fulfill the promise that I’m making?” In the immortal words of an 80s action hero, you know, “Is my mouth writing a cheque my ass can’t pay?” Right? So here’s the thing: sometimes it’s the case that’s what happens…that’s what happens too much: we give too much, we say too much, we think too little; or we do too much and we plan too little. It happens, and so what we have to do, what we’re obliged to do, and what we do do is, we have to seek forgiveness. We have to own up to what’s occurred and we have to seek forgiveness. We have to say, “I made an error. I made an error and I’m sorry.” And we have to seek out the individual that’s been aggrieved by our failing, and we have to point out that failing and we have to say, “This is my failing, as I see it, and I’m sorry for this failing and its impact on you. Do you see this failing?”And that’s an important piece - “Do you see this failing?” - because they may see an entirely different failing, a deeper failing, and they can help you get to a place of healing from that failing. They can see something that you can’t see. I can’t see what’s in my teeth. I need the help of the people around me to say, “Hey, this is in your teeth.” I can’t smell my breath. I can blow against my hand…I’m not getting the heat of the sickness that says, “You need to go away from the group and get well; you need to isolate and get well.” And our ignorance to see these things? That’s okay. These are completely okay things. And in fact, these things are part of being who we are, and this is why we need community: to help us with these things. This is why we need seek forgiveness. Now that being said, there’s going to be people within the community, they’re going to be seeking forgiveness of us. They’re going to be coming and saying, “I failed you. I said I would do these things and I failed you.” And they may be inclined, because of that failure, to want to leave the community. They may be inclined because of that lack of success to say, “I don’t want to look you in the eye anymore and know what has occurred.” Indeed, we may feel those same things as we go to those that we want to have forgive us. We may say, “Oh, I don’t want to go to it. I don’t want them to see me like this. They have this opinion of me, this idea of who I am…” No they don’t. We all fail. We all fail. Not all of us are redeemed though. And that redemption? That redemption comes when we seek forgiveness and we own our errors and we listen for the errors that we’re unaware of. And we do our best to improve. And we set goals. And we share our ideas. And we share our hopes and our fears, because that’s really what a community is: a community is about forgiveness and redemption. We’re gonna make mistakes - guaranteed. Are we gonna make the same mistakes again? We’ll probably, but we’ll be a little bit different.
